Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on emerging as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He described the outcome as a reflection of the confidence party members continue to place in his leadership.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Sanwo-Olu said Tinubu’s victory in the APC primaries was “well deserved.”
He praised party members and officials for conducting what he described as peaceful and well-organised elections across the country.
The Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, commended the APC’s National Working Committee and state executives for ensuring a smooth exercise.
I congratulate our leader and President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the APC for the 2027 election.
This victory reflects the confidence and trust that party members across the country continue to place in his leadership and his commitment to building a better Nigeria, Sanwo-Olu said.
