Edo Assembly impeaches Speaker

The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Agbebaku, has reportedly been impeached.

It was reported that he was impeached during plenary today.

Also, lawmaker, Osawmonyi Atu, representing Orhiownmon 1 constituency, has been appointed the Speaker of the House.

Atu was until now the Deputy Speaker of the house.
