The government of Ondo state has encouraged residents of the state to exercise patient with the government of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the policies introduced by the government will soon yield positive result.
The statement was made by the Chief press secretary (CPS) to Ondo state Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, while featuring on Viral FM`s political programme, ‘Nigeria politics in the spin’ revealing that the state Governor will finish all the ongoing projects before leaving office.
Prince Adeniyan stated that Lucky Aiyedatiwa has started transforming Ondo state, as he had already flagged-off major roads across the three senatorial districts of the state.
He also gave the assurance that on-going projects, like Ijoka road, Onyarugbulem/Shagari village flyover will be finished in few months to come.
He emphasized that Ondo state government is still reviewing Ijoka road project with the contractor handling the project, as against the narrative that the state government has sacked the contractor handling the project.
While speaking on the activities of the State government, he said that Governor Aiyedatiwa has succeeded in employing about 2000 teachers into the public schools and 500 Health workers in the health sector.
Meanwhile, the Chief press secretary to the Governor begged residents to give the government more time and not to compare his government with the previous governments in the state.
